May Board of Directors Meeting and ARB Meeting Rescheduled


Please note that May Board of Directors Meeting and the ARB meeting has been moved to May 20, 2024.  To submit an application for the May ARB meeting, please submit your completed application to Sequoia Management Co. by 8:30 am on Monday May 13th.

The meetings will be held at Gainesville Middle School.

Trash Service Schedule and Christmas Tree pick up Schedule 


This is a reminder that per the attached communication the 1st service day with Disposal Services Co. is Thursday January 4, 2024. 

Please note that trash days remain on Mondays and Thursdays. Recycling will be picked up on Thursdays and yard waste will be picked up between March through December on Wednesdays.  


Bulk Service is available on any scheduled pick-up day. Please call ahead at 703-441-1111 for metal items such as dryers, washers, fridges, etc. due to a separate truck will be picking those items up.

The American Disposal contact ended on December 31, 2023, if your American Disposal containers have not been picked up yet, they will be picked on Friday January 5th.

Notification from: American Disposal Services for Monday August 8, 2022

Dear  ROCKY RUN HOA   

Due to labor-shortages and current COVID cases. We will not be collecting yard waste material next week. Our main focus will be on the collection of trash and recycling material(s). Yard waste service will resume the following week on your regularly scheduled yard waste collection day. We will collect up to 20 paper bags and/or personal containers per home as well as, up to 20 bundles of brush to offset the push in yard waste collection this week. 

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through these times.

July 4th 2020. No make-up day will be provided. Monday through Friday services

are scheduled to be performed as normal, only Saturday services will be impacted.

All services will resume on their next regularly scheduled trash and recycling

collection days. We will collect any accumulated material when we return.

NOTICE: Special Meeting of the Board of Directors (Rocky Run HOA)

 Date/Time: Monday, June 1, 2020; 7:00 PM

Location – Videoconference: due to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 coronavirus (and per applicable law during the state’s declared COVID-19 health emergency), this meeting will be conducted by Zoom videoconference.  Log-in credentials are for homeowner use, must be kept confidential, and must not be shared with, or used by, tenants, other non-owner residents or any other parties not authorized to attend HOA Board meetings.

Purpose – Executive Session discussion with legal counsel: per the Bylaws, the HOA president is calling a special Board meeting for the sole purpose of the Board convening into executive (closed) session for discussion with legal counsel re: audit-related matters.  If a homeowner has comments regarding this specific topic, there will be a brief owner comment period at the beginning of the meeting before convening into executive session.  Because the agenda is limited to this one topic, comments on other topics will need to wait for a later Board meeting or may be submitted in writing to management for later consideration by the Board.

Note: when the Board adopts the motion to convene into executive session, owners who do not disconnect from the Zoom meeting will be placed in a Zoom “waiting room” if they want to re-join the meeting after the Board reconvenes into open session for any final motion(s), such as the motion to adjourn.

Rocky Run Homeowners Association

 The Rocky Run Board of Directors (BOD)  & Architectural Review Board (ARB) would like to provide the community with an update regarding annual inspections of each home and lot.  Due to Covid-19 the BOD & ARB is delaying annual inspections until further notice.  The BOD & ARB understands that this is a very hard time for homeowners and therefore does not want to add any additional stress, both personally and financially.  

With that being said, the BOD & ARB will still pursue minor items such as trash cans/recycling bins left out on non-trash days, mowing of the lawn and other minor items.  We will also still inspect and pursue items reported to us as concerns by other homeowners.  We ask that you still take the time to maintain your home in accordance with the rules and regulations for the Association. 

Prior to the restart of annual inspection, the BOD & ARB will send notice updating the community.
